05/29/2026, 16:37Representatives of the Creative Industries Park, the Association of Creative Industries and the Digital Community of Kyrgyzstan have issued an appeal to President Sadyr Zhaparov, asking him to reconsider the decision to block TikTok within the country.
The appeal notes that the creative economy is now considered one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world, and that digital platforms help creators, entrepreneurs and those in creative professions to create jobs, promote national culture and find new sources of income.
The authors of the initiative believe that Kyrgyzstan has great potential for development in this sector thanks to its young professionals, cultural heritage and the country’s natural diversity.
In their view, unblocking TikTok could be a step towards developing the digital economy, supporting young creators and strengthening Kyrgyzstan’s presence in the international creative sphere.
