08/20/2025, 10:33An automated information system (AIS) called “Insurance” has been launched in Kyrgyzstan, which not only allows users to purchase motor third-party liability insurance policies online, but will also make the used car market more transparent in the future.
The deputy director of the State Agency “Kyzmat” under the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that the system will accumulate data on all insurance claims related to vehicles. This means that when buying a used car, buyers will be able to check whether the car has been involved in an accident and what insurance payments have been made for it. A similar principle operates in the US through the Carfax service.
This means that dealers will no longer be able to hide a car's real history from its future owner.
Currently, through the Tunduk app, it is already possible to purchase compulsory motor third-party liability insurance online from the State Insurance Organization and ZAO NSK. ZAO Sakbol will be connected in the coming days. The authorities promise to gradually transfer other insurance services to digital format.
