    First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev has attended the EEC Council meeting

    EEC Council regular meeting with the participation of the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev was held in Moscow.

    During the meeting, more than 50 issues on the agenda have been considered and several decisions have been taken as a result.

    Thus, on the initiative of Kyrgyzstan, a decision was made to approve the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council's draft decision on amending the Regulation on the selection of cooperation projects in the industries and providing financial assistance in their implementation by the EAEU member states.

    This decision proposes to provide for the participation of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund in the mechanism of financial support for industrial cooperation in the EAEU. This issue will be considered at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council's forthcoming meeting.
    In addition, the members of the Council instructed the Eurasian Economic Commission together with the member countries of the Union to work on expanding the scope of the mechanism of financial support for industrial cooperation in the Union.

    The Council members decided to expand the list of light industry goods subject to labelling with identification means on the territory of Russia by including such goods as children's clothing, swimming costumes, ties, children's and women's underwear, hats and so on. The ban on the unmarked product's circulation is set from 1 March 2025.
    During the discussion of this issue, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev noted the inadmissibility of limit restrictions on the issuance of labelling codes by the Russian side to exporters of light industry goods from member states and suggested that the national operators of the parties to solve this issue.

    Also heard a report on the situation on the elimination of barriers and reduction of exceptions and restrictions in the internal market of the EAEU in 2024 and reports on the formation of a common market for gas, oil and petroleum products of the Union in 2023.

    The EEC Council adopted a decision ‘On Determination of Special Facilitation Granted to Authorised Economic Operators’, which provides an opportunity for Authorised Economic Operators holding a certificate of the second or third type to use their premises for storage of their goods placed under the customs procedure of the customs warehouse.

    Approved the draft protocol on amendments to the Treaty on the EAEU (draft ‘IV Grand’ protocol), and decided to send it to the EAEU member states for domestic procedures necessary for signing the said protocol.
