06/10/2026, 17:27The Board of Directors of Optima Bank has decided to terminate the appointment of the bank’s First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Garyp Ismatov, ahead of schedule.
According to the decision, adopted on 5 June, the senior manager will leave his post on 1 July 2026. The basis for the termination of his powers was a letter of resignation submitted on 1 June.
Information regarding who will fill the vacant position has not yet been disclosed.
It should be noted that Garyp Ismatov joined the board of Optima Bank in 2021. Prior to joining the Kyrgyz bank, he worked for over 13 years at Kazakhstan’s Jysan Bank — the parent company of Optima Bank.
According to information on the bank’s website, the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board has over 20 years’ experience in the financial sector in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. He holds qualifications in banking, finance and credit, as well as an MBA from the University of International Business.
