Kyrgyz Ambassador to Bellarusi shared the peculiarities of doing business online

Erbol Sultanbayev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Belarus, made a welcome speech at the international youth roundtable ‘Features of Doing Business Online: Common Digital Agenda of the EAEU Countries and Experience of its Application in Belarus’.

The event was attended by representatives of the Parliament, diplomatic corps, large IT and financial companies, representatives of academia and university students.

In his speech, Ambassador Erbol Sultanbayev dwelt on the role of modern digital technologies in the development of online commerce. He spoke about the peculiarities of e-commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In particular, the specifics of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic ‘On e-commerce’, the implementation of the Programme for the support and development of e-commerce for 2023-2026, as well as the benefits of a special tax regime for e-commerce entities, which has been in force in Kyrgyzstan since 2022.

These measures, according to the Ambassador, have led to an increase in tax revenues and an increase in the number of entities in the field of e-commerce.

The participants of the roundtable exchanged views on the use of advanced digital solutions and artificial intelligence in business processes and the introduction of IT products to promote entrepreneurship.
