02/15/2025, 10:00Issyk-Kul oblast became the region with the cheapest housing in Kyrgyzstan. The average cost of construction of one square metre of an individual house here was 11.6 thousand soms, which is the lowest in the country.
For comparison, according to the National Statistical Committee, the average cost per square metre in the capital was 40.5 thousand soms, and the average cost per square metre in rural areas was 19.5 thousand soms.
We would like to add that in 2024 there was an increase in housing commissioning in the country, which indicates an increase in construction activity and infrastructure development.
