Entrepreneurs in the regions will be trained in modern business practices

The JIA Business Association will hold a series of on-site events, ‘Business Caravan 2026’, aimed at developing entrepreneurship in the regions, improving the standard of business education and expanding inter-regional economic ties.

The project will be implemented in April–May 2026 in the regional centres of Talas, Osh, Naryn, Karakol and Manas. The events will serve as an open business platform for representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as for anyone interested in entrepreneurship.

The initiative is led by the JIA business association. The project is being implemented in close cooperation with the regional business associations of the Osh, Jalal-Abad, Talas, Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions. Partners also include the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the State Tax Service, the President’s authorised representatives in the regions, city councils, the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, the Association of Franchisees and Franchisors of Kyrgyzstan, and the Entrepreneurship Support Centre.

Business Caravan 2026 is a mobile business platform aimed at supporting and developing entrepreneurship in the regions. The main objective of the project is to create a sustainable business ecosystem, equip entrepreneurs with up-to-date knowledge and expand opportunities for doing business.

The project will feature educational programmes, B2B meetings and a Franchise EXPO all in one venue. This gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to find new partners, expand their markets and learn about modern business models.

The event will include an exhibition of franchises, suppliers and companies providing business services. Participants will be able to establish business contacts directly.

The educational programme will include panel sessions on the latest changes to tax and labour legislation, as well as issues relating to the regulation of entrepreneurial activity. These will be attended by representatives of government bodies, experts, industry organisations and successful entrepreneurs.

Special attention will be paid to the development of women’s entrepreneurship. Within this framework, discussions will cover government policy, funding opportunities and ways to boost women’s economic participation.
