President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping to pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan

At the invitation of Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, will pay a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic on 30 August.

During the talks, the two sides will discuss topical issues relating to the further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China

Following the visit, a number of inter-state, inter-governmental and inter-departmental documents are scheduled to be signed.

The President of the People’s Republic of China will also take part in celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games.

The forthcoming state visit by the President of the People’s Republic of China will mark an important milestone in the further strengthening of Kyrgyz-Chinese relations, which are based on solid friendship, mutual trust and support.
