The State Development Bank's profit decreased by 20% at the end of 2025

The net profit of OJSC State Development Bank for 2025 decreased compared to the previous year. This is evident from the bank's financial statements as of December 31 last year.

According to the statement of comprehensive income, the bank's profit amounted to 862.98 million KGS, while at the end of 2024, this figure exceeded 1.08 billion KGS. Thus, the decline in profit was about 20%.

The key reason for the deterioration in financial results was a sharp decline in interest income. In 2025, it almost halved, from 934.17 million KGS a year earlier to 500.4 million KGS. Against this backdrop, net interest income fell from 896.7 million KGS to 452.5 million KGS.

Additional pressure on profits was exerted by an increase in provisions for expected credit losses. In 2025, the bank allocated 46.4 million KGS to the formation of reserves, which is higher than the previous year. The growth in reserves is associated with the expansion of the loan portfolio and a more conservative risk assessment.

At the same time, the bank partially offset the decline in interest income through investment activities. Investment income grew from 472.2 million KGS to 679.5 million KGS, while net non-interest income increased by almost 44% to 678.5 million KGS.

Operating expenses also increased significantly, to 253.7 million KGS, compared to 221.4 million KGS a year earlier, which further reduced the final financial result.
