12/24/2025, 17:19The net profit of Kyrgyzstan's largest mining company, Kumtor, amounted to $421.8 million in January–October 2025. This has already exceeded the figure for the whole of 2024, when the company's profit reached $397.4 million. These figures were presented by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev during a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh.
Thus, in the first ten months of this year, Kumtor earned $24.4 million more than in the entire previous year. This underscores the company's financial stability and the favorable conditions on the gold market.
In addition to profit growth, the company's tax and mandatory payments to the budget and special funds also increased. During the period under review, 10 billion 18.4 million KGS were paid to the budget in the form of tax on gross income from Kumtor's activities, and another 2 billion 110.1 million KGS were paid as an annual contribution to the development of the mineral resource base.
