03/16/2026, 09:53Kyrgyzstan’s construction sector recorded growth of 23.2% in January–February 2026 compared with the same period last year. The figures are taken from a preliminary assessment of the country’s socio-economic indicators.
In addition to construction, growth was also recorded in other sectors of the economy. Wholesale and retail trade volumes increased by 11.4%, and agriculture by 2.6%.
The country’s total gross domestic product for the two months amounted to 264 billion soms, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year.
