04/17/2026, 10:31The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has published its financial statement as of March 31, according to which the regulator’s profit for the reporting period amounted to 25.9 billion KGS.
Compared to the same period last year, this figure has increased significantly. During the same period last year, profit stood at 7.4 billion KGS. This represents a 3.5-fold increase.
The main factor behind the increase in capital was the revaluation of foreign currencies and monetary gold. The corresponding reserve reached 219.5 billion KGS, up from 106.6 billion KGS previously. This reflects the impact of exchange rate and price factors on the regulator’s assets.
The National Bank’s total capital as of the end of March amounted to 257.6 billion KGS, more than doubling compared to the previous figure of 126.2 billion KGS.
The regulator’s total liabilities and capital reached 896.9 billion KGS.
