07/15/2026, 12:50Kyrgyzstan’s industrial output in January–June 2026 reached 450.4 billion KGS, an increase of 12.7% compared with the same period last year.
The greatest growth was seen in the production of chemical products, which almost tripled, the pharmaceutical sector – which grew 1.8-fold – and the production of wood and paper products, printed matter and petroleum products – which grew 1.7-fold.
There was also an increase in the production of transport vehicles (by 40.7 per cent), construction materials (by 33.4 per cent), mineral extraction (by 12.8 per cent), base metals (by 11.9 per cent) and food products (by 8.2 per cent).
Positive trends were also observed in other sectors of the economy. The volume of construction work increased 1.7-fold, whilst turnover in wholesale and retail trade rose by 5 per cent and in agriculture by 4.3 per cent.
