Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov held a meeting in the format of videoconference on preparations for the summer tourist season 2025.

The event was attended by representatives of relevant ministries, departments and local authorities.

During the meeting, the results of the past tourist season were summarized and the plan of activities for the upcoming season was discussed. Edil Baisalov emphasized that tourism remains an important and dynamically developing industry, contributing to economic growth and strengthening the international image of the country. Special attention was paid to the issues of transportation accessibility, development of tourist infrastructure and ensuring the safety of tourists.

The meeting participants received information on the progress of construction of new airports, highways and tourist facilities, including projects in Issyk-Kul, Chui and Jalal-Abad regions. Also discussed were preparations for the World Nomad Games in 2026 and the international festival “Rukh Sanat”, which will be held annually on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul.

The need to develop event tourism, preservation of ecological balance and historical and cultural heritage was emphasized. A special emphasis was made on the importance of coordinated actions of all state bodies for the success of the season.
