These canals provide irrigation water to the Kok-Zhar, Toolos and On-Eki-Bel aulak districts of the Nookat region.
The Saparbaev-1 canal is 8.45 kilometres long and irrigates 2,333 hectares of agricultural land. Through this canal, water is supplied to the lands served by the Kok-Zhar, Abshyr-Tany and Toloos-Nookat Water Users' Associations.
The Saparbaev-2 canal has a total length of 20.4 kilometres and supplies irrigation water to 2,075 hectares of land in the On-Eki-Bel and Toolos ayakhs.
Baky Torobaev noted that the commissioning of the two canals will significantly improve the supply of irrigation water to local farmers, reduce water losses and create conditions for increasing crop yields and incomes in agriculture. The development of irrigation infrastructure is one of the key areas of sustainable support for the agricultural sector.
