Five Instagram accounts have come under scrutiny for illegally recruiting Kyrgyz nationals for work abroad

The Centre for the Employment of Citizens Abroad, under the Kyrgyz Ministry of Labour, has identified five Instagram accounts that were advertising the organised recruitment of citizens for work abroad without the necessary permits.

The accounts on the list are: lavorokg, nurpaiz_job, siu_visa, visa_hub.kg and speakup.kg. Following the monitoring, the findings were forwarded to the law enforcement authorities for legal assessment and for action to be taken in accordance with the law.

The Centre has urged citizens to check that agencies hold the necessary authorisation documents before taking up employment abroad. The list of legal agencies can be found on the website migrant.kg. The agency warns that using illegal intermediaries may lead to fraud and pose a threat to citizens’ safety.
