04/01/2025, 16:16During a meeting of the Committee on Transport, Deputy Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency Kanat Tologonov said that the final decision to remove Kyrgyzstan from the European Union's ‘blacklist’ on aviation will be made in May 2026.
He recalled that the country has been on the blacklist since 2006, which limits the ability of domestic airlines to operate flights to EU countries.
‘We will present a preliminary audit in Brussels in May, and the final audit will be conducted in autumn this year,’ he said.
Also, he said, the final decision will be made at the European Commission's transport committee.
