06/24/2025, 10:41Since the beginning of the year, more than 5,000 agricultural producers across the country have gained access to preferential financing under the Agriculture Financing 13 (AFC 13) project. As of June 12, the total amount of loans issued amounted to 3.26 billion KGS. This makes the initiative one of the largest agricultural support programs in the country.
Most of the preferential financing was directed to livestock farming — almost 2.65 billion KGS. It was received by 4,290 farmers engaged in this sector. Another 417.4 million KGS were allocated to 856 crop producers.
Relatively new categories of preferential financing — modern water-saving technologies and equipment leasing — received 14.9 million KGS and 179.4 million KGS, respectively.
Most of the money under the FSH-13 project was allocated to the Jalal-Abad region (657.8 million KGS), followed by the Osh and Chui regions, which received almost equal amounts of 595 million and 596 million KGS, respectively.
Farmers in the Batken (216.3 million KGS) and Talas (355.3 million KGS) regions received the least amount of preferential loans.
