11/17/2025, 12:53As of 1 July, foreign debt coverage by international reserves increased in all EAEU member states compared to the same date last year. The highest level of coverage was recorded in Russia, where reserves amount to 214.7% of foreign debt.
In other countries, the indicator is significantly lower. The lowest coverage was recorded in Armenia (22.6%), Belarus (30.6%) and Kazakhstan (30%).
Kyrgyzstan showed higher dynamics among small economies. Its external debt coverage by reserves increased from 33.3% to 50.5%, but remains lower than Russia's.
