The cashless payments market in Kyrgyzstan is one of the fastest-growing in Central Asia

The volume of non-cash payments in Kyrgyzstan reached nearly 1 trillion KGS, an almost tenfold increase compared to 2024. This was reported by Azat Kozubekov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, while addressing members of the Jogorku Kenesh during a review of the regulator’s performance for 2025.

According to him, the country’s non-cash payments market remains one of the most dynamically developing markets not only in Kyrgyzstan but also throughout the Central Asian region.

“The volume of non-cash payments reached nearly 1 trillion KGS. Compared to 2024, this represents a nearly tenfold increase,” Kozubekov noted.

The Deputy Head of the National Bank emphasized that, alongside the growth in transaction volumes, the non-cash payment infrastructure continues to develop actively. The network of payment services is expanding, and the international integration of the national payment system is deepening.

According to Kozubekov, Kyrgyzstan has already integrated its payment infrastructure with China and Uzbekistan. At the same time, the National Bank is considering further expanding cooperation with countries both near and far abroad.
