11/03/2025, 15:53In January–September, Kyrgyzstan received 16.69 billion KGS in import customs duties from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. This is 5.5% less than in the same period of 2024. However, the dynamics by country turned out to be mixed.
Revenues from Russia and Belarus decreased, while Kazakhstan and Armenia increased their transfers. Nevertheless, Russia still made the largest contribution, with 13.49 billion KGS. This figure decreased by almost 1 billion KGS compared to last year (14.5 billion KGS). A similar trend was observed in Belarus, whose remittances decreased from 855.1 million to 821.2 million KGS.
At the same time, Kazakhstan showed growth. Transfers increased from 1.92 billion to 1.98 billion KGS (+3.1%). Armenia showed even more noticeable growth — from 375.3 million to 389.9 million KGS, which is an increase of almost 4%.
The decline in revenues from Russia and Belarus reflects a reduction in trade, while the growth in Kazakhstan and Armenia may indicate diversification of supplies and redistribution of imports.
