The ruble lost more than 1%. The National Bank updated its official exchange rates

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has set the official exchange rates for foreign currencies for tomorrow, June 24. The Russian ruble saw the most significant change, depreciating by more than 1%.

The U.S. dollar exchange rate remained unchanged at 87.45 KGS.

Meanwhile, the other major currencies showed mixed trends. The euro and the yuan both weakened. The euro fell from 100.1346 to 99.7498 KGS, or by 0.38%, while the yuan fell from 12.9078 to 12.8865 KGS, or by 0.17%.

Meanwhile, the ruble suffered the greatest loss. It fell from 1.1881 to 1.1748 KGS, a decline of 1.12%.

The only currency to appreciate—whose exchange rate is calculated daily by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic—was the tenge. It strengthened by 0.17%, to 0.1799 KGS.
