The ruble strengthened while the dollar weakened. The National Bank updated its exchange rates for April 22

The National Bank has updated the official exchange rates for April 22. The KGS weakened against all major currencies of partner countries, with the exception of the U.S. dollar.

Specifically, the U.S. dollar fell slightly—from 87.45 to 87.4485 KGS. The change amounted to approximately –0.002%.

The euro and the Chinese yuan, on the other hand, strengthened against the KGS. However, the increase was only 0.024%. The euro rose from 102.8587 to 102.8832 KGS, and the yuan from 12.826 to 12.8291 KGS.

The currencies of the EAEU countries showed the most notable dynamics. The ruble rose from 1.1546 to 1.1679 KGS—or +1.15%. The tenge strengthened from 0.1861 to 0.1882 KGS—or +1.13%.
