06/26/2026, 17:21The Russian ruble is ending the workweek with another decline. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan set the official exchange rate for June 27 at 1.1523 KGS per ruble. This marks the fourth consecutive day that the Russian currency has depreciated against the KGS.
Over the past 24 hours, the official ruble exchange rate fell from 1.1676 to 1.1523 KGS, losing 1.31%. This was the most significant change among the major foreign currencies.
Since the start of the week, the Russian currency has already depreciated by 3.32%. While the official exchange rate stood at 1.1919 KGS on June 22, it had fallen to 1.1523 KGS by the weekend.

The downward trend has persisted since mid-June.
Against the backdrop of the ruble’s weakening, the euro continued to strengthen. Its official exchange rate rose from 99.4088 to 99.6843 KGS (+0.28%).
The U.S. dollar remained unchanged once again at 87.45 KGS. The Kazakhstani tenge showed a slight decline, falling from 0.1801 to 0.1797 KGS, as did the Chinese yuan, whose exchange rate fell from 12.864 to 12.8603 KGS.
