From July 1, 2025, a new mechanism will come into force whereby taxes, insurance contributions, and other payments administered by tax authorities can only be paid using a payment code or QR code through bank cash desks.
This approach offers a number of advantages, namely instant online transfer of funds to the budget, elimination of errors when manually filling in details, as well as fast and convenient service without queues and unnecessary bureaucracy.
The payment code or QR code can be obtained in the taxpayer's account or via the mobile app (“Tax Payment” on the main page), at Business Service Centers and territorial offices of the State Tax Service.
During the meeting, the banking sector expressed its full readiness to cooperate, emphasizing the importance of digitizing fiscal procedures.
We would like to add that the initiative is being implemented as part of a policy to simplify tax payments and increase the transparency of budget revenues. The innovation should not only reduce the workload of bank tellers, but also save taxpayers from routine errors and time costs.
