On 1 October, the State Tax Service launches a pilot project to introduce FPO in the hotel business

The State Tax Service has announced the launch of a pilot project to introduce fiscal software with data transfer functionality in the hotel sector. This was announced by Azat Almanbetov, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service.

As noted by Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Azat Almanbetov, the specifics of the hotel business differ from those of the catering industry, and therefore the system is being implemented taking into account the characteristics of each industry.

As a reminder, the pilot project was launched on 1 September 2025 in the catering sector and is being implemented in stages: from 1 October 2025 in the hotel business; from 1 February 2026 at petrol stations.

The pilot project will continue until 31 July 2026 and will cover Bishkek, Jalal-Abad and Osh. Taxpayers who have their own accounting systems can voluntarily join the project regardless of their field of activity.

To ensure stable operation and readiness for peak loads, an analysis of server capacities was carried out. The results of the check showed that the current technical resources are sufficient and no overloads are expected.

«The results of the analysis showed that there are no grounds for technical problems», — emphasised Azat Almanbetov, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service.

Fiscal software is an internal accounting system for taxpayers used for tax and accounting purposes, as well as for automating business processes. FPO is directly integrated with the tax service's information systems, which ensures the transfer of sales data and the generation of cash register receipts directly from the accounting system. This guarantees the accuracy and reliability of accounting data.

To participate in the pilot project, entrepreneurs must apply to the relevant territorial bodies of the State Tax Service.
