08/08/2025, 15:20The State Agency for Personal Data Protection has taken measures to prevent the leakage of citizens' personal information on the Internet and to prevent fraudulent activities involving its use.
As part of the “Lost and Found” section on the Lalafo platform, the function of posting photos of documents has been removed.
The agency reminded that the publication of documents containing personal data in the public domain could lead to a loss of confidentiality and cause fraud.
If a lost document is found, it is recommended to contact the authorized bodies responsible for its issuance (public service centers, transport and driver registration departments, state lost property offices) or the nearest police department.
The State Agency also reminded that administrative liability is provided for violation of the procedure for the collection, storage, processing, protection, transfer, and distribution of personal data in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 95 of May 19, 2025.
