Since the beginning of the year, the country has seen steady growth in agricultural processing

According to the results of the first six months of 2025, there has been steady growth in the processing of agricultural products in the country. This was reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry.

In the reporting period, the share of food industry enterprises, including beverage and tobacco production, accounted for 21.5% of the total output of the country's processing industry.

According to preliminary estimates, in January–June 2025, food industry enterprises produced products worth 48,401.7 million soms at current prices. The physical volume index was 144.0%, indicating a significant increase in production volumes compared to the same period last year.

For comparison, in January–June 2024, production amounted to 39 billion 215.9 million soms, with a physical volume index of 117.7%.

These indicators reflect the positive dynamics of the sector's development and growth in production activity, which contributes to strengthening the country's food security and increasing the export potential of the domestic processing industry.
