These routes operated during the Soviet era but were suspended for various reasons after independence. Now the routes will operate year-round.
«The Ministry of Transport is currently working with its Kazakh colleagues to resume the agreed bus services. This decision was made as a result of agreements between the leaders of the two countries, Sadyr Zhaparov and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev», — he wrote.
Earlier it was reported that from 25 August, the Karkyra-Unaazhol checkpoint began operating around the clock.
