From January next year, Kyrgyzstan will raise salaries of medical workers - Toraga

Increase in wages of medical workers is planned from January 2026. This was stated by Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu during a working trip to Ala-Buka village of Ala-Buka district on June 5.

According to him, only at the level of salary from 70-80 thousand soms we can talk about the development of the health sector and high professional requirements to the staff.

Within the framework of the visit, the speaker toured the buildings of local medical institutions - consultative-diagnostic department of the Center of general medical practice and laboratory of the center of state epidemiological surveillance. The facilities were built in the 1950s and are currently in a state of disrepair.

He instructed specialized departments to start construction of new buildings as soon as possible:

"The state treasury is full. Last year, the economy grew by 9%, and for five months of this year - already 13%. We can allocate republican funds for the renovation of such social facilities".
