10/11/2026, 11:26The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved a plan to rectify the breaches and shortcomings identified by the Audit Office during its audit of the implementation of the national budget for 2025. State bodies have been instructed to rectify the identified breaches and to consider the issue of officials’ accountability.
According to the resolution of 6 October 2026, government bodies must draw up their own action plans to implement the Audit Chamber’s directives and recommendations. This was reported in the newspaper ‘Erkin Too’.
Furthermore, they are required to report quarterly to the Presidential Administration and the Audit Chamber on the measures taken. The information must be submitted no later than the 15th of the month following the reporting quarter.
Responsibility for monitoring compliance with the resolution lies with the Department for Monitoring the Implementation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers within the Presidential Administration. The document will come into force seven days after its official publication.
