The deal for “Tennis Park” fell through because the authorities failed to sign the agreement with the investor by the deadline

Bishkek plans to hold a new tender to select a private partner for the “Tennis Park” public-private partnership project. The project involves the renovation and construction of a year-round tennis complex based on the “Tie Break” courts.

Previously, the City Hall’s Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs, in collaboration with the Public-Private Partnership Center, had already conducted competitive procedures and identified a potential investor. However, the agreement could not be signed—the statutory deadline expired, and the deal was deemed void.

The authorities intend to continue implementing the project and announce a new tender to attract a private partner.

The “Tennis Park” project involves the creation of a modern indoor complex that will be able to operate year-round.
