Trading in Eldik Bank shares drove market turnover

A subdued trading session was recorded on the Kyrgyz securities market. This is evidenced by data from the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.

The largest volume was accounted for by shares of Eldik Bank OJSC. The shares traded at 500 KGS, with a total transaction volume of 117.11 million KGS across 234,220 shares. This represents more than half of the total turnover for the session.

Shares in ABN Microfinance Company OJSC took second place in terms of volume. The transaction took place at a price of 1 KGS per share, with a volume of 95.02 million KGS and nearly 95 million shares. However, only one transaction was concluded, indicating that these were isolated trades.

The remaining issuers showed significantly lower activity. Shares in Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC traded at 263 KGS, with a turnover of 51,800 KGS. Shares in Uchkun OJSC closed at 36.84 KGS, with a turnover of 30,200 KGS. Shares in Kyrgyzstan Airports OJSC saw a symbolic trade worth 4,380 KGS.

In the debt market, transactions were recorded involving bonds of Stroy Dom. KG LLC. The STRYb4 issue accounted for a turnover of 529,000 KGS across five trades, whilst STRYb2 recorded 70,700 KGS in a single transaction.

The market continues to demonstrate low diversification of activity: most liquidity is concentrated in specific securities, and a significant proportion of transactions are one-off in nature. This indicates a limited number of participants and the predominance of large, targeted transactions over market trading.
