05/01/2025, 10:30Starting on 1 May 2025, there'll be a gradual increase in pay for technical and junior service staff, civilian personnel, and contract workers. This was announced by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev as he congratulated Kyrgyzstanis on Labour Day.
He noted that the transition to a unified wage model is planned to be completed by 2026.
‘In recent years, Kyrgyzstan has demonstrated steady economic growth. The country's gross domestic product for 2024 exceeded 1.5 trillion KGS, and the gross domestic product per capita more than doubled in three years. Average wages are also growing steadily: at the end of 2024, they reached $429, which is an important indicator of socio-economic progress,’ he said, noting that special attention is being paid to raising wages for public sector workers.
