According to the Ministry of Labor, each family received 150,000 KGS to implement business initiatives. In the Manas district, 31 families received certificates, and 40 families from the Bakai-Ata district.
The event was attended by Zhogorku Kenesh deputy Medina Kairylbekova, First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Kamchybek Dosmatov, as well as representatives of local authorities.
According to Kamchybek Dosmatov, in 2026, 682 low-income families will participate in the project in the Talas region. He noted that the program not only supports citizens in need, but also stimulates the development of entrepreneurship in the regions.
“This project allows citizens in need to move from the category of social assistance recipients to the category of individual entrepreneurs, who not only provide income for their families, but also create additional jobs,” he emphasized.
According to him, by implementing their own business ideas, the program participants contribute to the development of rural areas and the improvement of the well-being of local communities, which is in line with the objectives of the National Development Strategy of Kyrgyzstan.
It is interesting to note that more than 94% of the participants in the Social Contract program are women, mainly living in rural areas.
