An attempt was made to smuggle gold worth one million KGS through Osh without documentation

Employees of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan prevented an attempt to illegally import jewelry worth more than 1 million KGS through Osh International Airport.

According to the agency, during a tax inspection raid, an attempt was detected to import gold items—a ring, earrings, and chains—into the country without the appropriate accompanying documents. The total value of the jewelry discovered exceeded one million KGS.

The relevant reports have been drawn up on this fact. The inspection materials have been sent to the prosecutor's office for further legal assessment.
