  The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has increased Kyrgyzstan’s quota for duty-free imports of electric vehicles from 15,000 to 25,000 vehicles. The decision was adopted on 10 August and will come into force on 20 August this year.

• Almost 39,000 jobs were created in Kyrgyzstan over a three-month period

  In Kyrgyzstan, 38,900 new jobs were created between January and March 2026, of which 33,300 were permanent. These figures were released by the Ministry of Economy and Trade, which attributes the rise in employment to increased investment activity and the implementation of government projects.
