The KGS has strengthened against most major currencies. National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic exchange rates as at 29 July

The National Bank has published the official exchange rates for 29 July 2026. The US dollar remained at 87.4500 KGS.

The euro fell by 0.25 per cent to 99.4525 KGS. The Russian rouble fell by 0.29 per cent to 1.1193 KGS.

The Chinese yuan also fell slightly – by 0.01 per cent – to 12.9218 KGS. The Kazakh tenge lost 0.86 per cent, falling to 0.1836 KGS.
