Automated checkpoints have been installed in three national parks and nature reserves in Kyrgyzstan

The Ministry of Natural Resources has introduced automated checkpoints in three specially protected natural areas. Visitors can now pay for entry using a bank card, a QR code or an e-wallet.

The Ministry of Natural Resources has installed automated checkpoints in the ‘Kyrgyz-Ata’ and ‘Besh-Tash’ state national parks, as well as in the ‘Padysha-Ata’ state nature reserve.

The new system automatically records the entry and exit of vehicles and enables cashless payments via bank cards, QR codes and e-wallets. According to the ministry, this will increase the transparency of revenue, improve the quality of visitor services and reduce the impact of human error.

In addition, construction of modern entrance arches has begun at the ‘Sary-Chelek’ State Biosphere Reserve and the ‘Kyrgyz-Ata’ National Park.

The Ministry of Natural Resources is systematically introducing digital solutions in the field of ecology and natural resource management, including modern systems for recording and paying for services in specially protected natural areas.
