The KGS strengthened against all major currencies except the yuan

On 15 January 2026, the official exchange rate of the US dollar was 87.4483 KGS, down 0.0008%.

The euro fell more significantly, by 0.185%, to 101.8510 KGS. The Russian rouble also fell by 0.422% to 1.1088 KGS.

The Kazakh tenge fell by 0.23% to 0.1712 KGS. The exception was the Chinese yuan, which, on the contrary, rose by 0.046% to 12.5415 KGS.
