The board of directors of the Kant Cement Plant will work without pay

The shareholders of the Kant Cement Plant approved the new composition of the board of directors and simultaneously decided that its members would serve on a pro bono basis—without receiving any compensation.

According to the shareholders’ decision, the board of directors now includes Denis Trusevich, Sergey Vologa, and Andreas Kern. The board’s membership remains at three people.

At the same time, the company has explicitly stipulated that board members will perform their duties free of charge. They are not entitled to salaries, fees, or other forms of compensation for their participation in managing the plant.

However, the company will still reimburse all expenses related to the directors’ work. This refers to expenses supported by documentation—for example, travel, transportation, and other costs related to the performance of duties. Furthermore, such payments may be provided in advance if the anticipated expenses are known beforehand.

A similar approach has been applied to the company’s internal audit department. Its new composition has also been approved by the shareholders. Andrey Mikhailukov was elected chairman, and the team includes Sholpan Maldybekova and Gulnur Sadykova.

Members of the internal audit department, like the board of directors, will serve without remuneration but with full reimbursement of expenses related to the performance of their duties.
