The purpose of the visit was to familiarize himself with the progress of the investment project for the construction of the second stage of the garment factory. The total investment in the project, including the first and subsequent stages, amounts to $40 million.
The second stage provides for the expansion of existing production capacities, the construction of additional sewing workshops, and the launch of a modern dyeing workshop.
The implementation of this stage will create a complete production cycle from the manufacture of textile fabrics to the sewing of finished products. This, in turn, will significantly reduce dependence on imports of textile products and increase the level of localization of production.
In addition, the project has a significant socio-economic impact: as a result of the factory expansion, it is planned to create more than 600 new jobs, which will be an important contribution to the development of the Kara-Suu district and the Osh region as a whole.
Ravshanbek Sabirov noted the strategic importance of the project for the development of Kyrgyzstan's light industry and emphasized the state's readiness to provide comprehensive support to investment initiatives aimed at regional development and job creation.
