09/17/2026, 14:31The average monthly nominal wage per employee, excluding small enterprises, for January–July 2026 stood at 54,864 KGS. Compared with the same period last year, it increased by 28.5%.
Taking consumer price inflation into account, real wages rose by 16.1%. This indicates that the nominal growth in income exceeded the overall rise in prices during the period under review.
Wages increased across all major economic sectors. In the arts, entertainment and recreation sector, the increase was 1.5 times. In health and social care, wages rose by 46.6 per cent; in education, by 43.3 per cent; and in agriculture, by 32.9 per cent.
In construction, the average monthly wage rose by 23.5 per cent; in transport and storage, by 22.7 per cent; and in financial intermediation and insurance, by 25 per cent. It should be noted, however, that these figures represent averages across the relevant organisations, so the actual earnings of individual employees may differ significantly from the statistical average.
