In some cases, housing is occupied before it is officially commissioned, and buyers are not issued with title documents. In addition, transactions are often not registered in the prescribed manner, which creates risks for citizens and hinders the taxation of developers' activities.
The tax service believes that such actions may be part of a deliberate tax evasion scheme and also jeopardize the legal rights of bona fide buyers who, having paid for the housing, are left without legally formalized ownership rights.
In this regard, the State Tax Service urges citizens to report such cases. If you have been living in an apartment for more than three months, but the building has not yet been commissioned and the documents for the housing have not been formalized, the tax service asks you to submit an application and supporting materials.
