Construction in Kyrgyzstan rose by 60% over nine months

The gross output of Kyrgyzstan’s construction sector in January–September 2026 reached 380 billion KGS, a 1.6-fold increase compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

Growth in construction activity was recorded in all regions of the republic.

Construction remains one of the fastest-growing sectors of the economy. By comparison, industrial production increased by 7% over the same period, while agricultural production rose by 6.5%.

The expansion of the construction sector is accompanied by an increase in fixed capital investment. Over the nine-month period, the volume of such investment reached 365.72 billion KGS, which is also 1.6 times higher than last year’s figure.

At the same time, the growth in construction encompasses not only residential and commercial real estate but also the development of industrial and infrastructure facilities.
