A new shareholder has received over 605 million KGS in dividends from the State Insurance Organisation

The State Insurance Organisation paid out 605.6 million KGS in dividends for the year ending 2025. This is 75 per cent more than the company paid out for 2024. Meanwhile, the recipient of the dividends changed over the course of the year. 100 per cent of the SIO’s shares were transferred from the Ministry of Finance to the Presidential Administration.

According to disclosures on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange, dividends totalling 605 million 594 KGS were accrued and paid to the sole shareholder for 2025. There are no outstanding payment arrears. The information regarding the payment was published on 3 September.

By way of comparison, GSO paid out 345,731,700 KGS in 2024. Thus, the total dividends for the year increased by 259.9 million KGS. Previously, the profit figure for 2024 had been adjusted, following which 100 per cent of the profit was allocated to dividends.

At the same time, the insurance organisation’s sole shareholder also changed. Until June 2026, the Ministry of Finance owned all 11,443,518 shares in GSO, representing 100 per cent of the authorised capital. From 11 June, the Ministry of Finance ceased to be a shareholder, and the Office of the President of Kyrgyzstan became the owner of 100 per cent of the ordinary shares. The value of the stake in the authorised capital amounted to approximately 1.144 billion KGS.

The transfer of shareholder rights was scheduled for April 2026; it was decided to transfer the Ministry of Finance’s role as a shareholder in GSO to the Presidential Administration in order to improve the company’s operational efficiency.

Consequently, the Ministry of Finance received dividends for 2024 amounting to 345.7 million KGS, whilst the payment for 2025 fell within the period when the Presidential Administration had already become the sole shareholder of GSO.
