Top 6 Countries to Which Kyrgyzstan Exports Carrots — Ministry of Agriculture

The Perm Regional Office of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance has authorized the import of the first shipment of fresh carrots from Kyrgyzstan, weighing 20.7 tons. This was reported by the agency.

According to the service, no such products from Kyrgyzstan were imported into the Perm Region during the same period last year.

Department staff, together with specialists from the Perm branch of the Federal State Institution under the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Plant Quarantine, checked the accompanying documents for the goods and took samples for laboratory testing. These products have a phytosanitary certificate, and no violations were found as a result of the phytosanitary inspection. No quarantine organisms were detected in the products either.

By the end of 2025, exports of agricultural, food, and processing industry products totaled $378.1 million. At the same time, exports of crop products reached $80.7 million.

Carrots occupy a significant share in the structure of vegetable exports. Thus, in 2025, the total volume of carrot exports amounted to 8,405 tons.

The main destinations were six countries:

  • Russia — 4,546 tons,
  • Uzbekistan — 2,610 tons,
  • Tajikistan — 849 tons,
  • Mongolia—353 tons,
  • Kazakhstan—38 tons,
  • Armenia—8 tons.

Since the beginning of 2026, carrot exports have already totaled 1,013 tons, of which 902 tons were shipped to the Russian Federation and 111 tons to Kazakhstan.

All exported products are accompanied by shipping and phytosanitary documents.
