The transport sector is due to receive 315 million som, but nearly 265 million of this comes from abroad

As at 1 July 2026, overdue receivables of transport and freight storage companies totalled 314.8 million som. This is according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

However, only 31.6 million soms of this is domestic debt. A further 18.5 million soms is owed to CIS countries, whilst 264.8 million soms is owed to countries outside the CIS.

The majority of the transport sector’s overdue payments are owed to foreign counterparties outside the CIS.
