Prices of standard gold bars from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic: weekly review

Prices of standard gold bars from the National Bank fluctuated throughout the week from 14 to 18 September. Following a sharp fall on 15 September, the price of the bars gradually rose and, by Friday, had approached the level seen at the start of the week.

On 14 September, the selling price of a 31.1035-gram bar was 391,501.5 som, whilst the buy-back price was 385,716 som.

The following day, the selling price fell to 380,925.5 som, whilst the buy-back price fell to 375,296 som. On 16 September, the selling price rose to 388,276.5 som, whilst the buy-back price rose to 377,836 som.

On 17 September, the selling price remained unchanged at 388,276.5 som, whilst the buy-back price rose to 380,639.5 som.

By 18 September, the selling price had risen to 389,890.5 som, whilst the buy-back price had risen to 384,128.5 som.

Compared with 14 September, by the end of the week the selling price had fallen by 1,611 som, whilst the buy-back price had fallen by 1,587.5 som.
