This achievement is the result of consistent efforts to bring the national veterinary control system into compliance with European Union requirements. Furthermore, the official recognition of the Kyrgyz Republic’s right to export honey to European Union countries has opened new opportunities for expanding the country’s export potential.
The inclusion of enterprises in the TRACES system is an important step in organizing the supply of animal products to the European Union market. The system ensures product traceability, proper preparation of veterinary documents, and monitoring of compliance with the European Union’s veterinary and sanitary requirements.
Opening the European market to Kyrgyz honey creates new opportunities for domestic producers, contributes to the development of the beekeeping industry, increases export potential, and promotes the Republic of Kyrgyzstan’s environmentally friendly and natural products on the international stage.
The Service for Veterinary Affairs, Livestock Development, Pastures, and Feed will continue its work to support domestic producers in entering international markets, as well as to ensure the safety and quality of products.
